Torchlight II Gets an Official Intro Cinematic from Klei Entertainment

With the aid of Klei Entertainment, the much-anticipated Torchlight 2 now has an opening cinematic. Klei Entertainment is better known for their work on Shank, Shank 2 and the upcoming Mark of the Ninja.

Torchlight II will carry a bigger focus on story over that of its predecessor, and will feature more cinematics along the lines of the intro as events move forward in the game. Runic Games says that while they have no intention of making Torchlight II too heavy on story, the scenes and the events will provide players with additional context to their adventures.

Although originally slated for release earlier this year, Torchlight II does not have a firm release date. We'll have to get back to you on that.
