More Character DLC Coming to Final Fantasy XIII-2

April 18, 2012 by Andrew Kent

Snow is back along with a new addition.

Snow is back guys in a new character DLC for Final Fantasy XIII-2. The theme of this DLC is "Don't Fight For Me" yet since this is Snow there's bound to be a lot of fighting. The story apparently goes into Snow's and Serah's relationship a bit more and also tells about how he got his L'cie brand once again.

New to the game and Final Fantasy (to my knowledge) is the all powerful Valfodr. This nasty appears throughout the DLC and Snow has to take him down. Valfodr gains new abilities and becomes stronger each time you face him. Take my advice Snow, it's dangerous to go alone. Even the great Link never beat Ganon with bare fists. Then again you did take on a giant slime tomato. Bet that took awhile to clean off your gloves.

Valfodr is meant to be the ultimate boss in the Coliseum, and you have a 100% chance of catching him if you defeat him. This most likely means you won't be able to beat him even with a crew full of maxed out characters. You've got to have your wits about you! Snow will also be available in the coliseum and you have a 30% chance of taming him.

The "Don't Fight For Me" DLC will be released on May 15th in Japan. No news about pricing or when it will hit the states.
