Yesterday, we got really excited when Ninja Gaiden Series Composer Keiji Yamagishi announced on Twitter that he’s working on “new project related to Ninja Gaiden.”

Yamagishi replied to his own tweet and clarified the situation that it’s not “a new video game,” but only a new project related to the Ninja Gaiden franchise.

Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo are clearly not working on a new game, so we’re sorry to put your hopes down if you were expecting something to get announced later this month.
