Microsoft’s E3 2012 Press Conference First on the Docket

April 16, 2012 by Jacob Saylor

Will they steal the show before it has even begun?

Microsoft, oh Microsoft. What will the industry see from you this Summer, as we all trudge through the gaming "dry spell?" E3 is basically what "Winter is coming." t-shirts are to Game of Thrones fans. The Fall and Winter months will be coming indeed, once E3 has graced our doorstep. We gamers, though, do not dread the cold months – we savor them. For one, we no longer have to make excuses about why we are not going outside. For two, a countless number of radically awesome games generally come out in this time.

So, if you have not caught on by now: E3 is the time of year when everything starts to kick into high-gear. We will be subjected to companies' advertising, buy their games, and they will make more awesome games because we bought their games. It is simple economics!

In any case, if you want to see what Microsoft has in store for you, then be sure to catch a stream or follow Gameranx's live coverage on June 4 at 10.00 A.M. PDT!
