It’s finally happened: A dating sim developer has used its powers for good instead of evil, developing a game that aims to help gamers get fit.
Burn Fat with Me, an iOS/Android app developed by Creative Freaks, has been described as a "Gal Game and Health Care & Fitness App." The goal of the game, like most dating sims, is to pursue a relationship with one of three female protagonists.
Unlike other dating sims, however, Burn Fat With Me requires the player to undertake exercise to progress in the game.
For example, to complete your daily routine of stomach crunches, a protagonist sits at your ‘legs’ and counts your reps, giving players encouragement to reach their goals.
The fully voiced app will see a Japanese release in December for $2.10 USD, while those on Android can expect to see the app in the Google Play store this month for $4.40 USD.
