Apple/Valve Collaboration Could Be Brewing

April 13, 2012 by Ron Taylor

Apple and Valve are working on something.

The idea that Apple will one day decide to put both feet into the gaming industry by releasing a full-on home console is a dream for some gamers and a shadow that has long loomed over the heads of current console makers Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. Valve is in a similiar position, but that could change very soon for both companies.

Apple Insider is reporting Apple CEO Tim Cook was spotted visiting the Bellvue, Washington Head quarters of Valve just this morning.

It's extremely speculative to say he was there to discuss console plans (he could've been thanking them for their Mac OS support), but Valve is hiring for some sort of hardware and the possibilities are exciting..

A console developed by Valve and supported by Apple would almost certainly knock one of the current big three out of the competition. I would even say it would have the potential to become the fabled One Console.
