Destiny’s Hotfix Fixes Matchmaking Issue And Corrects Players In Activity Feature

Destiny-April-Update

Bungie’s Destiny received a hotfix recently to fix a couple of small reported issues.

The recent Players In Activity feature helps you find out what are your friends currently doing and what “activities” they wish to play, however, those who had a big number of online friends encountered issues.

Hotfix 2.3.0.1 is meant to fix that problem as well as another issue that was encountered during matchmaking, which prevents you from “matchmaking into an activity that was being played by a large number of friends.”

Here’s everything the hotfix does:

  • Fixed an issue that could occur when inspecting activities being played by a large number of friends
  • Fixed an issue that could prevent matchmaking into an activity that was being played by a large number of friends

And here is the reported problems being looked into:

  • Players are not receiving Legendary Marks when completing the Daily Heroic Story Missions Paradox or Lost to Light. Until resolved, Legendary Mark rewards will be granted via Postmaster at a later date to those who complete the Daily Heroic activity when one of these missions is featured.
  • Some players who completed a Refer-a-Friend links on Bungie.net between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM PDT on June 10th, 2016, are unable to retrieve their Quest from the Speaker in the Tower. This issue does not impact the 7 day Referee eligibility time period for impacted players.

Destiny: Rise of Iron releases on September 20.
