The latest in a long line of patch previews published by Riot Games hit the internet just forty-five minutes ago. The gameplay changes coming to the game in upcoming patch "Hecarim", will apply to individual champions, runes, and experience gain.
Kayle, one of the characters that has been seen lately as a bit underpowered, is getting buffed. The majority of her skills are getting revamped, mainly in regards to haste.
Teemo is also getting a bug fix that will increase his damage output by a substantial amount. A bug has been occurring lately where his Toxic Shot damage over time effect does not apply correctly. In fixing this, Teemo will become an even stronger adversary on the Fields of Justice.
Also included in the patch are changes to offensive magic and defensive magic runes. Flat magic resist runes are getting nerfed, and offensive magic/ability power runes are getting buffed. Their reason behind making this change is due to the fact mage characters in the middle lane would often be stuck stacking defensive runes against one another, thus creating a stalemate.
Finally, changes to experience gain are occurring. Basically, if you kill an enemy champion who is a higher level than yourself, you and any teammates around you will gain more experience than before. Riot Games saw a huge divide when one team would get the advantage early on and the other team was unable to recuperate.
