WildStar Available on Steam

June 9, 2016 by Nicole Carpenter

It’s here! It’s finally on Steam.

Developer Carbine Studios’ adventure role-playing game is available now on Steam.

The free-to-play game is a science fiction MMO set on the “vast continents of Nexus.” Players are set on a “grand adventure” investigating the lost planet and learning of its origins. The developer is offering a bunch of in-game bundles to help new Steam players get started; they’re accessible through the WildStar Steam store page.

Similar bundles are available for those not playing the game through Steam.

Players can expect to find boosts, bonuses, cosmetic items, pets, and mounts in the new bundles. Bundle pricing ranges from $20 to $100 USD.

Alongside WildStar for Steam, Carbine Studios was expected to launch a batch of new content called Destination Arcterra. It’ll add a whole new open area to the game. Arcterra is a frozen wasteland with plenty of new enemies and quests.

The update will also unlock the Vault of Archon, which part of the continuing Nexus Saga storyline.
