Space Run Galaxy, a new take on the tower defense genre from Passtech Games and Focus Home Interactive is now available for pre-order at a 15% discount, with exclusive digital content. The game is slated for a PC release on June 17.
Space Run Galaxy is a sequel to 2014’s Space Run, and is developed by one-man studio Passtech. The original title enjoyed hundreds of thousands of players thanks to its innovative take on the tower defense genre. To explain how the game works, Passtech has released a gameplay trailer. In the game, players will attempt to defend their ship and its cargo as it travels between stars. Ships are completely modular and can be outfitted with a variety of weapons, including lasers, missiles, and energy shields. Players can also take on contracts made up by other players, trade their goods, and undertake special missions from corporations.
The game can be pre-purchased over on Steam, with bonuses including the original soundtrack, 4 in-game badges and access to the beta a full week ahead of the game’s release.
