Ridge Racer Unbounded Showcases Basic and Advanced City Building

March 22, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

A new trailer for Ridge Racer Unbounded shows off the game’s map editor.

Namco Bandai has put together a new trailer for Ridge Racer Unbounded, also known as Ridge Racer 6, showcasing the game's City Creator.

This easy to use tool allows players to design their very own cities, placing blocks and setpieces into the environment so they can race in them. The editor itself comes in basic and advanced forms, with the advanced version allowing players to add every item, road, building, and vehicle individually into the game.

Ridge Racer Unbounded offers driving, destruction, and a focus on multiplayer racing with traditional race cars as well as new street machines.

Ridge Racer Unbounded is set for a March 30 release on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The tool will be available for all three versions of the game.
