Resident Evil movie star Milla Jovovich claims she'd like to reprise the role of Alice in a Resident Evil game.
According to ShowbizSpy, Jovovich is frustrated that despite starring in Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil movies, she has yet to appear in any of the games.
"They use his set pieces from the movies in the games but for some reason, they don’t want to put my character, Alice, in the game," said the actress.
"It’s a shame because I used to play the game with my little brother years ago and it would be so cool to be in one."
Late last year, director Paul. W.S. Anderson explained his success of the Resident Evil film series to his cast and crew's understanding and passion for the games.
"Despite what a lot of haters on the internet might say, I love the Resident Evil games. And these movies are made with a huge knowledge and real passion for the games," he said to MCVUK.
He criticized game movies in general for being made by directors with little interest in the original material.
"A lot of video game movies are made by directors who don’t know the video games they are based on from a hole in the head. They don’t do justice to the games, they don’t immerse themselves in the games, they don’t understand what people liked from the games. And that is the wrong approach and clearly those movies don’t work."
