Microsoft Hiring for AAAA Title

If you take a look at Microsoft's career page, you'll see a posting for an executive producer on a major new title. A quadruple-A title.

Is quadruple-A even a thing? I thought triple A was top of the line. Can companies add more A's as needed, to signify importance? Let's see what we can learn from the posting itself.

"Microsoft Studios (Xbox) is looking for a dynamic and seasoned executive producer to lead and develop a world-class team who will own the creation and delivery of a AAAA experience that delivers on first party goals and, more importantly, creates a fun gaming experience for our audience," it says on the website. No real info so far…

"The EP will have P&L responsibility for a major Xbox AAAA console title and deliver the end-to-end AAAA title experience (Concept, Prototype, Greenlight, Pre-Production, Production, Release, ongoing revenue streams and a complete franchise plan)."

So, no. As usual, the job listing gives no indication of what this might be or what gives it that extra A. However, I think it is safe to assume that the game will be coming to the next Xbox, whatever it ends up being called.
