Denuvo has taken their legal action vs. ‘voices38’ to the next step.

Denuvo also sued ‘voices38’ last month, for removing their DRM and resharing no-DRM versions of new games online.
To be fair, this was easy to predict, but Denuvo has gone ahead and filed for subpoenas to compel Discord, Reddit, and Valve to identify ‘voices38.’ Presumably, these companies responded to the initial lawsuit by giving them information about the accounts used by ‘voices38’, but without sharing their name, credit card, or other identifying information.
Denuvo also went ahead and revealed that they identified ‘voices38’ making crypto transactions. But this still leads us to the same debate about rights to privacy requiring to be balanced out with the video game industry’s interests.
Denuvo could get their way and still keep ‘voices38’’s identity away from the public. But outside of that, this lawsuit is already discouraging other hackers from meddling with removing Denuvo’s anti-DRM from newer video games.
