Hideo Kojima has revealed the cast of PHYSINT in the latest episode of KOJI10 – but we still don’t get to know everyone yet.
Kojima was joined in his TBS recording booth with co-hosts Maoko Hibi and Yohei Miyazaki. Kojima showed his two co-hosts the cast, their character names and descriptions from his laptop, but out of view of the camera. While Kojima forced everyone to secrecy, we’ll try to parse through what we can observe from this segment.
While we already knew Bill Skarsgård and Charlee Fraser were already cast, Hibi said her hands were shaking just seeing what were written for them. Miyazaki then blurted out something that they cut from recording.
When Kojima got to an unrevealed actor, he remarked that they looked completely different. So PHYSINT may not strictly follow their actor’s likenesses for the game.
Kojima also shared four other unrevealed actors. One of them asked to be in the game, one would make the project even bigger if they made it in, Kojima is still negotiating with the third actor, and we received no clue on the last person.
With this, Kojima has effectively renewed hype for PHYSINT, fitting for the progenitor of stealth action.
