The Pokémon Company has a big release for the holidays after all.
They made this announcement on their website:
On Thursday, October 29, 2026, you’ll be able to get the entire story in one package with the release of the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension bundle.
This Nintendo Switch 2 release includes both Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition and the Mega Dimension DLC on one game card.
The Pokémon Legends: Z-A Switch 2 Edition Game Card will also work on an original Nintendo Switch, but only at a Switch level of performance.
The Pokémon Company hints at additional features and content that’s playable on the Switch 2, but they haven’t told us what these will be yet. Fans who do buy the Switch 2 Edition will also get a code for 100 Ultra Balls.
Obviously, what fans are looking for is if this will fix the performance issues in the original Switch version. We now know how long before we’ll find out.
