It looks like we’re still getting more classic Pokémon before GTA 6 hits.

Japanese Pokémon fan account pokesoku claims that Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire are coming this October 8 to Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. They are the only source willing to pin a date for now.
In spite of that, there’s a lot of reason to believe that these GBA classics were already on the way. When The Pokémon Company released Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen last March, dataminers found that these games had references to Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald in the game code.
Subsequently, last August, Shpeshal Nick Baker said this:
Currently, the ports of Pokémon Ruby/Emerald/Sapphire are planned for late September/October
Now, one may ask, why did pokesoku not mention Pokémon Emerald? In terms of their original Game Boy Advance releases, Pokémon Emerald came out a few years after Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. So it’s possible that The Pokémon Company plans to release it later as well.
But that is just a guess and we may be getting all three games as soon as next week.
