Last week’s 12 TB Steam leak is finally dealing some real damage.
Initially, the leak led to prototypes and betas to several games being revealed. Most of these were Valve’s own games, though a number of 3rd party games from their hundreds of developers also got leaked.
As reported by Gematsu, achievement lists for multiple games have now come out of the leak. Unfortunately, this time both new and upcoming games were affected this time.
Among the games whose achievements were leaked include
- Kingdom Hearts 4
- Horizon Hunter’s Gathering
- Gears of War: E-Day
- Control Resonant
- Fable
- Judas
- Silent Hill: Townfall
We’ve passed on naming some unannounced games that have themselves been leaked as a consequence in this report. Suffice to say this can potentially ruin story spoilers for these games, even before the fans had an opportunity to play them.
Valve has yet to comment on the leak, but we have to assume they have to talk to these publishers now, at least in private. But it’s probably for the best if they address the public.
