A new twist has emerged in the growing hunt for GTA 6 leaker Cyberleek.
As shared by videotech, Vice Cit revealed this discovery on GTAForums:
A discord account called stayonthegrindd!! popped up in the r/GTAVI discord on August 18th.
They tried sharing the basketball footage, people claimed it was fake/AI, asked people what they wanted to see, and then said they would be back after the video was done compressing. They also claimed they could share the full map.
Vice Cit established that the first leak, a map image, was uploaded on Arweave, a decentralized file storage service, on August 16, with the basketball video going up a day later.
On August 18, stayonthegrindd!! came onto the GTAVI discord to share some leaks, and a day later, we started reporting on Cyberleek as they went public.
But something else happened on the 18th. Someone called Cyberleeker posted the basketball video on Dread, a site on the dark web.
Vice Cit sidestepped the debate if stayonthegrindd!! is Cyberleek, a friend, or part of a group called Cyberleek. Either way, this is a potential lead.
But utilizing it means Take-Two needs Discord to work with them, and that isn’t guaranteed.
