We have some good and bad news about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 for Switch 2.

We’ll start with the good news. BoTalksGames is one of many gamers who got to preview the game early on Nintendo’s platform. After sharing impressive looking gameplay on his YouTube, he put up a Q&A. When he was asked about framerate, Bo said this:
So, I don’t have a way to actually, you know, check frames like Digital Foundry or something. In my experience, though, I’m pretty sure it’s running at 60 fps. It is targeting 60 fps and most of the time it is 60 fps.
Bo did mention that he did see some frame drops when the game had a lot to show in 6v6 domination, but it wouldn’t make you think the port wasn’t worthwhile. For the most part it targets and reaches 60 FPS.
On the flip side of the equation; retailer Video Games Plus confirmed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is a code-in-a-box on Nintendo Switch 2.
We couldn’t find a statement from Activision on framerate, or if it uses DLSS for that matter, but we expect they intend to share those details soon.
