Xbox may have something big brewing for Gamescom.

NateTheHate claims that Xbox is going to have a new game to announce at Gamescom this year, which will be held next week from August 26 to 30.
Nate shared further details on ResetERA. Apparently it’s a sequel to one of Xbox’s IPs, but it’s being made by an external developer.
Nate says it isn’t a Banjo-Kazooie game, the StarCraft FPS, or Wolfenstein 3. But the most interesting thing is not the IP itself but the developer they chose.
Intriguingly, other people have come forward to corroborate this rumor. Jez Corden shared on his Patreon that this is a sequel that the public does not expect. However, Jez went onto Twitter to clarify he hasn’t made the rumor public because he’s still verifying information.
Finally, Nash Weedle confirmed that the game is an Xbox IP but it has an external developer. Nash also says it’s not Banjo-Kazooie or Conker.
If we were to warrant a guess, with no evidence, maybe Toys For Bob has a new Crash Bandicoot waiting to be announced alongside Spyro: A Realm Beyond after all. But we’re just as intrigued on what this could be as everyone.
