Insomniac Games appears to have mastered the PlayStation 5’s hardware.

In an interview with IGN, they have revealed that they achieved 60 FPS and ray tracing on Marvel’s Wolverine on performance mode, and it will work even on a base PS5.
Senior project director Jess Reiner-Reed said this:
From early on in development, we knew we wanted to make this 60 FPS, working on the base PS5 in performance mode. And we’ve definitely been able to accomplish that. The game feels super smooth.
Insomniac has managed to push 60 FPS and performance mode in their prior PS5 games under various settings and conditions. While it’s too bad they weren’t able to do this earlier, Insomniac may still have a number of games coming to the PS5 in the future, even after the PS6 launches.
Elsewhere in the interview, they talk up how they were allowed to leave New York and bring Logan to different settings, and work on destructibility mechanics. Unlike Black and Red Faction, Logan can break down more things than buildings….
