Sony has revealed some new special edition PlayStation hardware, themed around Marvel’s Wolverine.
First off, the PS5 Digital Edition – Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle has a black and yellow digital only PS5 console, alongside a Battle Yellow themed DualSense controller. This console will retail for $ 650.
If you already have a PS5, you can get Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Console Covers. There will be options regardless if you have a regular PS5 or PS5 Pro, a digital edition or if you’ve added a disc drive to it.
Finally, there are PS5 Pro Console Covers – Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium Limited Edition. This replaces Wolverine’s characteristic yellow costume color for a metallic silver hue evoking his adamantium claws.
The Battle Yellow digital PS5 will get the most distribution, but the console covers and controllers will also have limited retail presence, as well as being available on PlayStation Direct. The console covers will retail for $ 75, while the controllers go for $ 85.
Pre-orders for these products open at select regions in PlayStation Direct on August 19, 2026.
