The first themed Nintendo Switch 2 may have leaked.
As reported by NintendoEverything, images have spread of a The Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary edition of both the Switch 2 console and the Switch 2 pro controller. To be clear, the images are not of the hardware themselves, but the packaging for both products.
We can see that both use the very popular gold Hylian royal crest theming, with gold and etching style patterns found on the Switch 2 dock, Joy-Cons, and Pro Controller. Some fans also noticed a nice 8-bit Link at the back of the Pro Controller too.
The Legend Of Zelda first released on the Family Computer in Japan in February 21, 1986, so Nintendo already missed the actual anniversary date even just announce this. While these hardware aren’t themed for The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, it does appear that these are scheduled to release alongside The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Switch 2 this November.
That’s really strong competition for GTA 6’s mindshare, but we’ll see if this all leaked far too early.
