Jason Schreier has shared some new rumors about GTA 6, with clarifications.
In the latest episode of The Ringer-Verse’s gaming dedicated podcast Button Mash, Jason talked about the game to start the show. He revealed that the game is not content complete, and stated that it isn’t clear right now if the game will be complete by November.
Jason Did Not Say Grand Theft Auto 6 Is Delayed
However, multiple outlets took this out of context to claim that Jason believed the game was being delayed.
Because of this, Jason himself took to Reddit to say this:
Despite this shitty headline, if you listen to the actual context here it’s me saying that I think fall 2026 is a more real release window than fall 2025 was.
Jason also explained that he believes Rockstar is repeating their pattern of delaying Red Dead Redemption 2 twice before final release.
Considering that Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of the greatest games of its generation, this is actually optimistic vibes for GTA 6.
