A Tongue-in-Cheek Look at How Assassin’s Creed Should Have Ended

March 15, 2012 by Josh Harmon

Animated Altair certainly is dashing, isn’t he?

The fine folks over at How It Should Have Ended have been taking animated jabs at movies for years now, but recently they've teamed up with Machinima to turn their attention the medium that's nearest and dearest to our hearts, video games.

Their latest target is the ever popular Assassin's Creed franchise. More specifically, they take a shot at the game's stealth system, which allows you to fool pursuing guards by doing as little as relaxing on a bench. This begs one very important question: Does Altair have magic assassin powers, or is everyone who's hired to be a guard just incredibly stupid?

We won't spoil the answer here, so watch the video and find out. It's certainly good for a few laughs, and with Assassin's Creed III right around the corner, now's the perfect time to look back and see just how far the series has come over the last five years.
