We’re fresh into December. With each new month comes a slew of media content for some of our favorite subscription services. For instance, if you’re an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you know there are typically two batches of games each month. You’ll find an update hitting the service early in the month, then another midway through.
That will usually keep you playing something new and tying you over until that next major release on your radar drops. However, in December, we usually see only one batch of games released. With everyone preparing for the holiday break, it’s not surprising that Microsoft is just giving one larger batch of games to help us through the month. That trend is not ending this year; on the official Xbox Wire, it’s been confirmed that this will be the only coming-soon post for Xbox Game Pass subscribers in December.
Xbox Game Pass December 2025 Additions
While this is the only batch of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in December, there’s a sizable number featured. Hopefully, you’ll find something here to check into. That said, you’ll find the full breakdown of the games coming to the service, the tiers it will be available on, and when it will be available below.

Leaving Xbox Game Pass
As with all the other posts highlighting the exciting new additions to Xbox Game Pass, there is a section revealing the games leaving the service. On December 15, you’ll find Mortal Kombat 11, Still Wakes the Deep, and Wildforst leaving the service. Meanwhile, on December 31, you’ll find Carrion and Hell Let Loose also leaving. That said, if you’re interested in keeping these games, all of them will feature a 20% discount for subscribers before they are removed from the service.
