Borderlands 4 Among Many Big Cyber Monday Deals

December 1, 2025 by Todd Black

The deals are high, but they won’t last.

Happy Cyber Monday! Are you familiar with this man-made holiday? Simply put, thanks to the chaos of Black Friday and the days that came after it, many people decided that they wanted to kick off the first “day of the work week” for many by having even MORE deals for you to partake in. Many big-name companies take part in this, and that includes in the video game field. As Windows Central noted, GameStop alone is having plenty of big-name games on sale for incredibly low prices, and that includes recent games like Borderlands 4. So, how low can you get some of these games for?

Well, for Borderlands 4, you can get the PS5 version for just $35! That’s a huge drop in the main price. It’s literally half off! Now, yes, it’s only the PS5 version that’s that low, but come on, that’s a really low price, considering that the game only dropped a few months ago! Sadly for Gearbox Software, this follows a trend that has been going on for a while, where everywhere from Amazon to other stores have been continually dropping the game’s price, rather than keeping it close to its launch price.

Why do that? The easiest way to describe it is that the game isn’t selling as fast as it was at launch. After the game’s release, fans called out Gearbox Software for the game’s state and how buggy it was. Plus, the title had serious performance issues so that even those on the PS5 Pro couldn’t play the game at “full power.” As such, many aren’t getting the game because they know it’s busted, and it’s unclear when it’ll get fixed. If you think getting the game for 50% off is a good deal, then by all means, take the risk and see what the game is like when it plays for you.

So, what are some of the other games that are on sale at GameStop for a ridiculously low price? First, there’s Battlefield 6, which also came out recently and is 50% off on PS5. That game sold incredibly well and has gotten lots of praise from fans. There’s also Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which was a faithful remake of the PS2 classic, and that game is actually BELOW 50% off at GameStop, and many other recent titles are there, too.

If you’re looking for game sales, you might want to check out the discount list and see if anyone is offering something you might like.
