Now, yes, it’s only the PS5 version that’s that low, but come on, that’s a really low price, considering that the game only dropped a few months ago! Sadly for Gearbox Software, this follows a trend that has been going on for a while, where everywhere from Amazon to other stores have been continually dropping the game’s price, rather than keeping it close to its launch price.

Why do that? The easiest way to describe it is that the game isn’t selling as fast as it was at launch. After the game’s release, fans called out Gearbox Software for the game’s state and how buggy it was. Plus, the title had serious performance issues so that even those on the PS5 Pro couldn’t play the game at “full power.” As such, many aren’t getting the game because they know it’s busted, and it’s unclear when it’ll get fixed. If you think getting the game for 50% off is a good deal, then by all means, take the risk and see what the game is like when it plays for you.

That game sold incredibly well and has gotten lots of praise from fans. There’s also Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, which was a faithful remake of the PS2 classic, and that game is actually BELOW 50% off at GameStop, and many other recent titles are there, too.
