There’s been plenty of rumors surrounding Ubisoft as of late. If you didn’t already catch the news, it was last week that Ubisoft made a sudden and unexpected decision. When they were just about to reveal the first half of 2025-2026 financial results, the company opted to hold off. While they were pumping the brakes to avoid revealing the results on time, they also managed to halt trading in shares and bonds.
Since then, the internet has been going rampant, wondering just what the cause of this sudden delay is all about. There have been plenty of speculation pieces online suggesting that Ubisoft hasn’t been hitting the financial milestones it hoped for with its more recent releases. As a result, these results might not be well-received by investors.
Ubisoft Confirms Financial Report Results Will Arrive This Friday
While Ubisoft managed to delay revealing the results, they won’t keep them secret for very long. Thanks to a report from Bloomberg, we’re now discovering that Ubisoft will reveal its financial results before trading begins on Friday, November 21, 2025. That should hopefully clear the air on a few things.
The delay could help temper some of the stock’s quick selloffs if the results turn out to be well below expectations. Otherwise, speculation is that major news is coming our way. One of the bigger rumors circulating online since the delay is that it’s the result of an upcoming significant announcement, such as an acquisition.
Again, that’s purely speculative right now, as we don’t have any official insight on the matter. Of course, Ubisoft itself has been a bit of a question mark for many of us over the past couple of years. That said, at the end of the day, we at least know the results so many of us have been waiting for should be available to the public soon.
