We’re not far off now before we’re finally able to get our hands on the Nintendo Switch 2. The console is nearly here, and we already know a few of the games that will be coming with the platform. At launch, some third-party games will be readily available for players to purchase and enjoy. One of those games is CD Projekt Red’s latest RPG offering, Cyberpunk 2077.
Today, thanks to the folks over at VGC, we’re discovering that CD Projekt Red has released a new B-roll of Cyberpunk 2077’s gameplay on the Nintendo Switch 2. That’s notable, as we’ve seen some footage in the past alongside previews. However, we’re now getting a more in-depth look after developers have had the chance to clear out some more issues or further optimize the game.
There’s quite a bit to watch here, as the footage features nearly forty minutes of content. It’s also a means to further showcase just how much the Nintendo Switch 2 can handle. As you all, I’m sure, recall, when CD Projekt Red initially released this game for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, it was clear the game might have been just a little too much for these platforms to handle.
Thankfully, we already have reports that this launch experience won’t be like when Cyberpunk 2077 first hit the scene. So, if you were still considering if this was a game you wanted to throw some money at when you pick up the Nintendo Switch 2 console, this B-Roll might help make that decision.
Of course, we also know that we shouldn’t expect any special crossover content featured in the game. It might be landing on the Nintendo Switch 2, but you won’t see any Nintendo-themed content in the game.
As a quick reminder, the new port for Cyberpunk 2077 will launch alongside the Nintendo Switch 2. You can expect both to be available on June 5, 2025. Meanwhile, you can view the new footage courtesy of an upload from alejandrogp1991 below.
