Thanks to a press release that was sent over earlier today, we’re getting word of a new update heading towards Primal Carnage: Extinction. This new update is said to bring a new game mode for multiplayer along with editing options in order to allow gamers the option of creating their own unique journeys.
Primal Carnage: Extinction, by development team Circle Five Studios and Pub Games, released last year. The game overall pins humans against a variety of legendary prehistoric creatures on a remote tropical island. The game came with a number of game modes outside of the main campaign and with this new update, a new game mode will have a team of humans facing off a unique threat.
The game mode is called Hunt and it allows a team of players to face off against a powerful raptor with a unique cloaking feature. One player within the game will be selected as the supreme predator while the remaining few humans must survive the five minute round or kill off the raptor.
If the player controlling the raptor manages to kill off all the humans during the round then they are able to continue on with their streak as a raptor. However, if a human player manages to kill off the deadly predator then they are able to take the raptor hot seat during the next round.
Additionally, it was noted that the game update will include editor features for players to create their own levels while the Steam editor will allow the creation of unique skins.
