MindsEye comes out into the marketplace next month, in case you happened to forget. This new game comes from the development team Build a Rocket Boy. While marketing might be gearing up for a push to highlight this game’s release, a new set of leaked clips has surfaced online, giving players another glimpse into the action-adventure episodic experience we’re set to embark on.
Before we get too ahead of ourselves, here is a quick recap. Build a Rocket Boy is notable as it’s headed by Leslie Benzies, the lead developer behind Grand Theft Auto III to Grand Theft Auto V. That’s quite a historic video game accomplishment of its own. However, since his departure from Rockstar Games, he’s built up a new studio with a couple of projects in the works. One of which is called Everywhere. This game essentially allows players to build up their own unique video game experiences.
MindsEye is a proof of concept of sorts for Everywhere. This project will showcase Everywhere’s capabilities while giving players an action-adventure experience. Set up as a more linear game, players will follow a man named Jacob Diaz. Jacob is a former soldier who has memory loss and features a neural implant called MindsEye. Because of his memory loss, Jacob sets out to discover this embedded MindsEye’s purpose.
That said, a few clips have come out to showcase a bit of the gameplay experience, including combat and car chases. We’re not sure how long these clips will stay up, but you can view them through this Reddit post, which we’re finding out about thanks to Insider Gaming.
Again, we don’t have long to go before we can get our hands on MindsEye. The game is set to release on June 10, 2025. When the game does drop, you’ll find it available for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
