A new message on the official Assassin's Creed Facebook page has hinted that big news for the franchise is on the way soon.
"A major announcement from Assassin’s Creed is only days away," the post reads. "Tune in to http://www.assassinscreed.com/ tomorrow for more details."
The two most likely scenarios are new DLC for Revelations or a full reveal of the recently announced Assassin's Creed III. Given that the "Lost Archive" single-player add-on was announced for Revelations just last week, the latter option seems the far more likely one.
At the moment, little is known about Assassin's Creed III, save for the fact that it launches on October 30, features a new protagonist, and will wrap up the story of Desmond Miles. The most popular rumor says that the game will take place during the American Revolution, but with the whole of history to choose from, it's really anyone's guess.
