Grand Theft Auto VI Fans Suggests March Will Feature A New Trailer

February 25, 2025 by Dennis Patrick

It’s been such a long wait.

So many of us are waiting for Rockstar Games to finally pull back the veil and reveal the second trailer for their highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI. The video game has been something players have been yearning for after spending years with the predecessor, Grand Theft Auto V. Unfortunately, we only have one trailer for the game, which came out well over a year ago.

The wait is grueling, and Rockstar Games has remained tight-lipped about the game for fans who want to learn more. Most of what we have heard about this development cycle came from Take-Two Interactive, and even then, it’s mainly been the fact the developers are still on track for a 2025 release. So, when are we going to see this game again?

According to some fans, it might be this coming month. Thanks to Dextero, we’re learning that fans are speculating Grand Theft Auto VI will have a new showing next month if the game follows a similar trend to Borderlands 4. That game received its second trailer not long ago, and it’s set to launch in about seven months. So, if Take-Two is looking to market its games closer to its launch, we might see more Grand Theft Auto VI content in a matter of weeks.

Borderlands 4 recently got its second trailer and it launches in 7 months.

If GTA 6 was to follow this same pattern, then we can expect Rockstar to drop Trailer 2 towards the end of March.

March also plays an important month for Grand Theft Auto V. We know that on March 4, 2025, the PC version of Grand Theft Auto Online will be updated to the latest-generation console versions. We might not see the second trailer drop on that date, but it’s leaving more than a few hopeful fans that next month could highlight more than just an update to the PC version of GTA Online.

Unfortunately, it’s all speculation right now, and it’s far from the only thing fans have pointed towards when it comes to a second trailer release date. If the developers are still planning to get this game out into the marketplace before 2025 wraps, it shouldn’t be too much longer before we start seeing some new marketing materials to highlight its gameplay, premise, and when players can pick the game up.
