Unfortunately with the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s Blood And Wine Expansion DLC, we will see the end of Geralt’s amazing adventure.
Game Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz was recently featured in a small interview with Eurogamer, where he replied positively when asked if this would be the last DLC we will see. However, he reassured the fans that they will continue to release patches to improve the players’ experience.
“The first thing is that we try to fix as many bugs as we can for the second expansion and the main game,” he said, “and we will release a patch before we release the expansion and maybe one later.”
This ties in with what was said earlier by visual effects artist Jose Texiera, who dismissed claims that the studio hasn’t even started working on their next project, Cyberpunk 2077.
The studio behind the game, CD Projekt RED, recently revealed the expansion’s release date, which will be May 31st on all platforms.
