Bethesda Game Studio’s Fallout 4 is getting a closed beta on Xbox One soon to test out mods.
You can currently sign-up to be one of the few to experience Fallout 4’s mods on console. The studio also recently celebrated 1 Million mod downloads on PC, which I am sure it will hit the same number on consoles once it’s fully released.
Fallout 4 mods on PC range from simple textures and performance enhancements to adding new settlements in the Wasteland. There is still no word on when PS4 will get its closed beta, but it will supposedly be a short while after Xbox One’s.
The closed Xbox One beta is set to take place after the release of Far Harbour DLC, which will be available starting May 19th on all platforms. The official release of console mods will be in May for Xbox One and in June for PS4.
