If you are a fan of side-scrolling shooter games, the options for recent releases are a little thin on the ground. You've got…hmm. There was…no, that was something else. Oh, there's Pixel Junk Shooter! But that game is PS3 only. If you're looking for a good side-scrolling shooter specifically on XBLA, you don't exactly have a king's bounty to choose from.
Grasshopper Manufacture and Digital Reality are hoping to change that with their upcoming Sine Mora. It's a story driven shooter with music composed by Akira Yamaoka of Silent Hill and Shadows of the Damned fame. The game is set in a steam-punkish world, and is likely to contain a good deal of the wackiness for which Grasshopper is known. The game is slated for release on March 21, but the cost of entry has yet to be revealed.
