A new Microsoft developer blog goes over some new updates coming to Windows 10 gaming. You can read it over for yourself here.

They state as a response to community feedback, Microsoft has released new Windows 10 updates to make “gaming even better for game developers and gamers”. The two features they highlight in the post are “support for AMD’s Freesync and NVIDIA’s G-SYNC in Universal Windows Platform games and apps” and “Unlocked frame rate for Universal Windows Platform (UWP) games and apps“.

The post highlights the Windows 10 titles that support DirectX12 and use the Universal Windows Platform.  Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Quantum Break, and Rise of the Tomb Raider are a few examples. They join alongside Ashes of the Singularity and Hitman, which the blog post says are “key” titles.

They also hinted at new “multiple GPU” features for DirectX12 in the near future, with more games coming out in summer and fall that utilize this technology.
