Naughty Dog Releases Flashback Map 2, Announces New Co-Op Mode

February 21, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

Naughty Dog has remade a good number of maps from Uncharted 2 for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

Naughty Dog is hard at work on developing additional content for Uncharted 3. Their latest development is the Flashback Map Pack 2, which is set for release on the Playstation Store tomorrow.

This new map pack will be on sale for $9.99 and includes the maps Plaza, Temple, Train Wreck, and Village. Each of these maps is augmented with all-new dynamic lighting, particle effects, and plenty of technical polish. The maps, which were originally available in Uncharted 2, have been completely redone for the new game.

In addition to the maps, Naughty Dog has announced plans to release a new game type for Uncharted 3 called Co-Op Shade Survival mode. You can take a look at that in the screenshot below. The new mode comes out in March.

Although it's all multiplayer content, that's okay too—since the multiplayer mode is actually pretty fun.
