The second XCOM 2 DLC is coming out next week. In Alien Hunters, the Avenger’s Armory gets a Hunter’s Lounge, because you’ll have one big hunt on your hands.
Alien Hunters comes with a narrative-driven mission that introduces three new ruler units to the battle: the Viper King, the Berserker Queen, and the Archon King. If you don’t kill these units in a fight quick enough, they can flee and come back to haunt you later.
Four new weapons are now available. The Bolt Caster, the Hunter’s Axe, the Shadow Keeper pistol, and the Frost Bomb grenade. Three different suits of armor are also added in this expansion. Basically, you harvest the corpse of the Ruler alien to acquire these. One of the sets, the Icarus Suit, comes with a jet pack that allows you to fly around the map.
The Alien Hunters update will add an XCOM 2 patch that includes general bug fixes, rebalanced singleplayer and multiplayer, and performance optimizations.
