Pacific Drive Drive Your Way Content Update Unleashes 50 New Setting Options

September 16, 2024 by Dennis Patrick

Make your drive far harder or easier!

In February of this year, Pacific Drive from the development team, Ironwood Studios, dropped. The game offered players a new survival experience in a strange zone of different anomalies. However, if you played through the game and are wanting an incentive to pick it up again, this latest update might persuade you.

Ironwood Studios released a new video highlighting their Drive Your Way content update. This free update adds plenty of settings to cater your driving experience to one that most appeals to you! However, three new game difficulty options were bundled in with this update to leave the guesswork out on how to tweak the settings.

Iron Wagon will max out the difficulty for players. This will not only make the gameplay overall more difficult but also add permadeath, so drive carefully! There is also the Scenic Tour option, which drops the difficulty down quite a bit to make it a bit easier for players to avoid some hazards, crafting, and overall damage to their vehicle. Then there is the Mechanic’s Road Trip, which adds more variables to the terrain and how it would affect your vehicle.

But beyond that, there are settings to tweak every attribute of the gameplay experience. The same settings developers use to create new difficulty modes will be accessible. It’s noted that there are over fifty customizable settings here now for players to start messing with.

We’re excited to see what players manage to achieve with these settings. This update is also available now, so you can start making those fine, detailed gameplay setting adjustments.

That said, Pacific Drive is available for players to pick up right now on the PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. We also have Before You Buy coverage of the game, which you can view right here. Meanwhile, you can view the update video below for further Drive Your Way update details.
