Activision Announces Prototype 2 Blackwatch Collector’s Edition

February 15, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

Prototype 2 is set to be released in a special Collector’s Edition.

Radical Entertainment may not yet be done with its development of Prototype 2, but the game’s well on schedule for release this April. In addition to the standard edition, Prototype 2 will also be available in a limited Blackwatch Collector’s Edition.

The Collector’s Edition, which was just announced by the game’s publisher Activision, includes the full game, all the content from the other, less limited Radnet Edition, the first DLC Colossal Mayhem, a soundtrack CD, hardbound art book, a digital comic of Prototype: The Labyrinth, and a 20% discount code for use on the Prototype Merchandise Store.

The Blackwatch Collector’s Edition is set for release on the same day as the standard edition. Prototype 2 will be released on April 24, and is priced at $80 for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 platforms.
