Anno 2070 Eden Project DLC Released

February 14, 2012 by Josh Harmon

You can now make your futuristic cities more eco-friendly.

Ubisoft has announced that the first DLC pack for Anno 2070, the Eden Project, is now available for purchase.

Taking advantage of the strategy game's futuristic setting, the Eden Project DLC offers a new world event centered around developing a clean and sustainable economy. You'll get access to new technologies and a new line of architecture, and you'll be able to take advantage of Former Technology to develop new tools to keep your island healthy.

The new additions will hopefully help you turn your cities from squalid, dystopian hellholes into squalid, dystopian hellholes with solar panels on top.

Of course, we all know how silly and unrealistic a game set in 2070 is, as the world will end in a tidal wave of blood this December, just as the Mayans prophecized. But hey, I guess it helps to have a little escapism.

The Eden Project DLC pack will set you back $3.99. You can purchase it through the in-game store or via the Steam store.
