GOG Releases Thief 2: The Metal Age

February 11, 2012 by Ian Miles Cheong

Thief 2: The Metal Age gets a new release on GOG.com

Good Old Games has followed up on their release of the first Thief game with its stellar sequel, Thief 2: The Metal Age.

Players once again take on the role of Garrett, master thief, as he revisits the dark streets of the City, now changed by the Order of Mechanists into a bustling Steampunk metropolis. Players must now face the added challenges of steam robots and mechanical cameras that threaten to follow Garrett’s every move.

Garrett must face a new opponent—Sheriff Gorman Truart, a lawman determined to rid the city of crime, who has Garrett in his sights.

Equipped with a new set of tools, including flash bombs and scouting orbs powered by his mechanical eye, Garrett strives to turn the tables on Sheriff Truart and rob the city blind while he’s at it.

Thief 2: The Metal Age is now available on GOG for $9.99.
