Content Warning, Which Has Become Popular Upon Streamers Is A Big Hit

June 5, 2024 by Faith Lane

The success is amazing!

Content Warning is a special little game that was released on April 1, 2024 – yes, April Fools Day. This game is considered to be a co-op survival-horror game where players band together to run their own horror YouTube channel basically, and they have to prove that these monsters exist and get the most views on this off brand style of YouTube.

This game is very similar to also indie games like Lethal Company which has become so big that it is even in Fortnite now as well. Also the horror game Phasmophobia which is one many players have been enjoying for a while now.

Content Warning has really become popular, especially since many Twitch streamers have started playing the game while live with some of their friends to be entertaining for their selective audiences. Today it was announced that the game officially made it to 2.2 million on Steam.

Content Warning has been out for two months and we've reached 2.2 million copies sold – which means over 8.8 million players own the game on Steam! 🎉 pic.twitter.com/xbxyHTkySp

The game might be small, and the publishers not as known yet, but it is definitely one that is worth checking out as this game isn’t like any other one that we have seen yet. We don’t know just how big overall the franchise will get, but with the way it is going, it could be a big one for the indie community.

Content Warning, just as Lethal Company and Phasmophobia can be purchased and downloaded from Steam onto a PC or a Steam Deck. Mouse and keyboard are best for these games.
