LittleBigPlanet Karting has just been announced by Sony via Twitter. The cynical users on Twitter started questioning the announcement straight away, accusing them of selling out the franchise, trying to take the thunder from Modnation and generally being obnoxious and out of touch with their userbase. Nothing about the game, outside of its existence and name, has been revealed so far.
No details on even when we'll get details, although you can presume it'll be released across the PS3 and Vita and that it'll be unlike any other Karting game out there, taking the Play, Create, Share motto one step further than we've seen before. I honestly don't believe for a second that Sony would do this game unless they could run Modnation and LittleBigPlanet alongside one another and that means going in slightly different directions.
Obviously we'll update as information is revealed, I'd expect information sooner rather than later.
