Game developer studio HouseMarque is releasing their next major title since their 2013/2014 game Resogun.
The story of Alienation centers around an alien take over, and humanity has one last opportunity to seize the planet back. There are three classes to choose from – Tank, Bio-Specialist, and Saboteur. Their different skills gives you a sense of variety to your strategy. Alienation is an RPG style game with a loot system and experience points advancement. You’ll find cool new weapons and upgrade your gear as you progress.
Judging by the gallery, the graphics are pretty stellar.
Personally, it’s great that PS4 owners have the chance to play a game like this. With Steam, it’s easily a hit or miss when it comes to the games and titles that are offered. But HouseMarque has Sony’s thumbs up and approval for their game. There’s definitely a better chance that this game is good rather than just average.
Local co-op is in development for Alienation. But it’ll release with online co-op and PvP on Day One. Other post-launch content and updates are also reported to be in the works as well.
