Corsair Introduces K70 & K65 Rapidfire Mechanical Keyboards

Corsair introduces gamers the Rapidfire K-series mechanical keyboards.

Corsair is a well-known and popular name for PC gaming peripherals and today, through a press release, the company has announced the K70 and K65 Rapidfire mechanical keyboards. The claim to fame for these mechanical keyboards is they are the first to sport the all-new Cherry MX Speed switch, a switch that’s clocked in at being 40% faster than a standard Cherry MX key switches.

The K-series for the Corsair mechanical keyboards has been a popular choice to run with for gamers and PC enthusiasts alike. Both the K70 and K65 have been available for some time now with RGB customizable lighting options. Owners of these mechanical keyboards could finely tune each key to display or react to various color schemes.

As mentioned, the new mechanical keyboards for the Corsair K70 RGB Rapidfire, K65 Rapidfire, and lastly the K70 Rapidfire offers gamers the latest Cherry MX Speed key switch. With these switches, owners of these new mechanical keyboards will have 1.2mm actuation point where the only 45g of force is actually needed for the mechanical keyboard to respond. Ultimately, these keyboards seemed to be aimed at gamers where the slightest millisecond could make the difference between victory or defeat.

Much like the keyboards predecessors, the RGB models will allow users to adjust the color schemes and reactions however they please through the Corsair Utility Engine, otherwise known as CUE software. This grants users various options for lighting, effects, and patterns.

Additionally, these mechanical keyboards come with a detachable wrist rest, key pullers with spare WASD and QWERDF key caps that are often used for first-person shooters along with MOBA’s. Furthermore, there is a USB 2.0 pass-through port in order to allow users to connect various USB devices such as headsets or a mouse.

The three Rapidfire mechanical keyboards are available immediately from Corsair. The K70 RGB Rapidfire is set at $169.99, K65 RGB Rapidfire will run you $139.99, and lastly the K70 Rapidfire is listed as $129.99.
