Watch How DOOM’s Cover Art Was Designed In This Reverse Time-Lapse

April 13, 2016 by Ian Miles Cheong

Watch how DOOM’s cover art was created.

Bethesda has put together a time-lapse video showing how their upcoming game DOOM’s reverse sleeve art was drawn and painted–in reverse. It’s a fascinating video that showcases the talents of the artist.

Earlier this year, Bethesda invited gamers to vote like hell to determine the artwork that would be used for DOOM’s reverse sleeve. The poll garnered over 60,000 votes, with gamers showing how hell-bent they were on seeing the retro-inspired art as the game’s reverse sleeve.

DOOM releases on Friday, May 13th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
