April 11, 2016 by Stephen Daly

It won’t be long until you can recreate Gladiator with extra deathclaws in the Commonwealth.

The second expansion for Fallout 4, Wasteland Workshop, is set for release on April 12th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Developer Bethesda has now confirmed exactly when players will be able to download the expansion, GameSpot reports, with the DLC being available at 12 AM local time across various European time zones and at 12 AM EST in North America.

The Wasteland Workshop DLC allows players to add to their settlements with new cages for trapped creatures and an arena where you can watch them battle. Even the Commonwealth’s most fearsome creatures, deathclaws, can be tamed and you can pit them against human adversaries including raiders and your own settlers.

Wasteland Workshop will also introduce a range of new design options for settlements such as nixie tube lighting, letter kits, and taxidermy decorations.

Fallout 4’s first DLC, Automatron, launched in March and offered a new storyline focused on the Mechanist from the in-game Silver Shroud comics. It also added the ability to build and upgrade your own robot companions.

Next month will see the release of Far Harbor, the largest DLC in terms of landmass ever created for a Bethesda game. The DLC, which costs $25, will take players from the ruins of Boston north to Maine.

All three expansions are included in the game’s Season Pass with additional content in promised and not yet detailed. We may learn more about Bethesda’s DLC plans for the game during their E3 press conference in June.

Wasteland Workshop doesn’t appear to be too big, offering just three bronze trophies.
